What we process
Server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you load a page, Cloudflare records standard request data at the edge — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, and user agent — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Per Cloudflare's published practice, edge access logs are typically deleted within a few hours, and logs related to errors may be retained at Cloudflare's core for a short period. We do not enable extended log retention (Logpush, Logpull) for this site, and we do not export these logs into any system of our own. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Newsletter signup
If you submit your address through the early-access form, we pass it to Mailchimp — operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a Mailchimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA — which stores your address on our behalf and sends you product updates. The form itself collects only your email address; alongside it, Mailchimp records the IP address and timestamp of the submission as evidence of your consent.
Subscription takes effect immediately on submit; we do not currently require a confirmation click ("double opt-in"). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by contacting us.
Providing your address is voluntary. If you do not provide it, you will not receive product updates; there is no other consequence.
International transfers: Mailchimp processes data in the United States. Mailchimp is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (filed with the U.S. Department of Commerce as part of Intuit's DPF program) and contractually commits to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback. What we do not do
This site sets no analytics cookies, embeds no third-party trackers, and loads no fonts or scripts from networks outside our control. Because we do not store information on or read information from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the page you requested, we are not required under § 25 (1) TDDDG to obtain consent and therefore do not display a cookie banner.
Recipients
We share personal data only with the processors named above (Cloudflare for hosting, Mailchimp for the newsletter) and with authorities where compelled by law.
Storage duration
We keep data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, and apply the criteria below:
- Server logs: deleted on Cloudflare's schedule. We do not export or extend retention.
- Newsletter address: kept while your subscription is active. After you unsubscribe, Mailchimp retains the address on a suppression list to prevent re-mailing and to evidence the original consent (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can request earlier deletion of all your data under Art. 17 GDPR.
Where statutory retention obligations apply, we retain the affected records for the period the law requires and delete them on expiry.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- request access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- have your data deleted (Art. 17)
- restrict processing (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing (Art. 21)
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of past processing (Art. 7 (3))
